Prior to opening our SYNERGY HomeCare office in Tallahassee Florida, Christine spent her time as an occupational therapist working mostly with senior citizens and special needs children. Many of her visits would frequently be at local nursing homes all around Leon County, FL. We are both originally from the area, and wanted to open a business that complimented both of our live-long experiences, as well as our passion to do good and help others in our hometown.
Kurt, the other half of SYNERGY HomeCare of North Leon County, has the pleasure of helping his mother, who is 90 years young and fierce at heart, maintain her independence so she can continue to enjoy her golden years. Like so many other’s her age, maintaining her independence is one of her strongest desires. More than 3/4 seniors want to remain in their own homes for as long as they can, and we understand that and want to help you do the same.
Our first-hand experiences helping others and navigating through the rewarding yet difficult journey of caring for others has prepared us to be the best home care service we could possibly hope for. For some clients we provide hands on care as their primary caregiver, and for others we step in when needed to help the family caregivers get much needed breaks, called respite care. Our relationship with our clients and caregivers speaks for itself, which you can read in our many 5-Star reviews here on Google.
We believe that before you can begin to help other people, you must first relate to them and understand them. Everyone’s goals and circumstances are unique, even if sometimes similar to that of our own. Being attentive listeners, and genuinely caring about each individual’s outcomes are probably some of our strongest traits.
