Growing up, Edward’s grandmother was the most important person in his life. She was his confidant, protector, and mentor. They were two peas in a pod. After years of battling various illnesses, his grandmother’s health quickly deteriorated, and Edward wanted to give her the best care possible. He stepped up to the plate and took care of her during her last few months. Every day, he would go to her home, make breakfast, help her to the bathroom, and change her bedsheets. He also kept up with her medications and appointments with her doctors.
All this work is done out of love, without expecting anything in return. When it was time for Edward to say goodbye to his grandmother, he felt an immense loss. He also understood that he had done his best to care for her. He started his Synergy HomeCare business to provide others with the same compassionate care he gave his grandmother.
They’ve been fortunate to have partnerships with other businesses and communities in the area that share the same passion for caring about others. They are a part of the Aging Life Care Association, Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), Alzheimer’s Association, Parkinson’s Foundation, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, Chamber of Commerce, Coalition of Geriatric Services (COGS) and Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors (GROWS).
