Heitz, who turns 75 this month, prides herself on leading a healthy lifestyle. Along with eating right and reading mystery and World War II books to sharpen her mind, Heitz is quite active: traversing East Rock Park, swimming and playing soccer with her granddaughter, she said, are among her favorite outdoor activities.
