SYNERGY HOMECARE IN BEAUMONT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR LOCAL SENIORS
Fan drive in support of Meals on Wheels’ annual collection brings in 200 fans and $2,000
Beaumont, Texas (Oct. 5, 2020) – SYNERGY® HomeCare of Southeast Texas, a leading national in-home care organization with seven offices in the Houston/Beaumont area, recently concluded a month-long fan drive in support of Meals on Wheels’ and Adult Protective Services’ joint annual fan collection for seniors.
More than 200 fans and financial contributions in excess of $2,000 were collected from SYNERGY’s extended network of community partners, businesses and individuals. Cash donations will support the purchase of approximately 200 fans.
Courtney King, Public Relations Director for Synergy HomeCare Southeast Texas, coordinated the effort after learning that the Meals on Wheels and Adult Protective Services annual fan drive had fallen short due to COVID-19, leaving more than 1,800 people in need of a fan.
SYNERGY HomeCare plans to present the donations to Meals on Wheels and Adult Protective Services on October 9th at 10 a.m. in an event with community donors, SYNERGY HomeCare owner Stephanie Allen, and leadership from Meals on Wheels and Adult Protective Services.
The event will take place at SYNERGY HomeCare’s Beaumont office located at 4180 Delaware Street, Suite 101.
